Computers have always been a part of my life, even from when I was a girl. I used my first computer, which had no internet access at the time, mainly to play using the early paint program. I have always been good with computers and have been the go-to IT support specialist within my family whenever something goes wrong with technology. While it took my siblings hours to try to solve an issue, I usually resolved it in minutes!
I have a Digital Media degree already, but I wasn't ready to go into the workforce at the time of graduation. I wanted to travel instead! Since I crossed travelling the world and the country off my bucket list, I am now moving on and settling down, by studying something that comes easy to me and something that I see myself doing for a long time.
My Goals
My ultimate professional goal right now is to start a lifelong career working with computers.
I have a lot of academic firsts that I would like to accomplish and check off my mental list:
build a computer, build a website using code, create a Linux virtual machine on a usb drive, and anything else that is bound to pop up as I learn more throughout this semester.
